Dory GannesFounder and Executive Director

Dory Gannes is the Executive Director of The Olevolos Project, a 501c3 organization she founded in 2007 as a student at the University of Michigan.

She currently works as a Senior Development Officer for Silicon Valley Community Foundation. Dory has a background in partnerships, development, global affairs and education as well as a BA from Michigan and masters degrees from the Fletcher School of International Affairs at Tufts University and Harvard's Graduate School of Education.

 

Kelly KingAssistant Director

Kelly King manages day-to-day operations for Olevolos.

She currently serves as a  Program Officer for the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) at the U.S. Department of State. She graduated from Boston University with a degree in international relations and minor in African studies. She also speaks Swahili.

 

Grace MushiProgram Manager

Grace Mushi lives in Tanzania and oversees all Olevolos programs and activities.

She leads relationship with Arusha Modern School, the Olevolos community and other Tanzanian stakeholders. She has made a career in real estate but has always had a passion for disadvantaged people and kids.

 

Richard MollelStrategic Consultant

Richard Mollel provides strategic assistance to The Olevolos Project.

He attended Arusha School and then Ilboru and Mazengo schools. He has a BS in Computer Information Systems and a masters in Informational Technology. He has been worknig at NASA since 2000. He lives with his wife and three kids in Maryland and in his free time, pursues real estate activities in the US and Tanzania. He has been advising the Olevolos Project since January 2011.
